The Oiler Young Guns laid a beating on a beleagured crop of Canucklehead rookies on Sunday in Penticton as part of an exhibition series showcasing up and coming NHL talent. There was an impassioned plea from the Mayor of this Okanagan town for Canuck fans to resist the temptation to burn down the fine community of Penticton after the loss. Store owners boarded their establishments and police cars could be seen scurrying for shelter.
